Yay it’s fri-yay you guys! So keen for the weekend. How about yourselves? Do you have any bookish plans? I will be delivering this current read to it’s location tomorrow. I actually post to my Instagram story the journey of placing the book so if you’ve got nothing better to do on Saturday, please follow @booksthatwander on Insta to keep updated. 🙂
Now, about this book. This, was super easy to read. I read it in a day. It has awesome pictures and a great writing style that gives it a nice casual reading vibe.
I loved how personal a biography is, but it sometimes it makes me cringe when there is just too much detail. Jamie’s biography definitely did not give me an overload of every detail of her life but enough to make me love it and want to be a part of it!
I think the book was appropriately structured too. It was chronological but with flashbacks and fast forwards here and there, relevant to the current topic of conversation. And I love how Jamie spoke directly to her audience. It made it really friendly and easy to relate to her. It let’s you feel that much more connected to the story.
Overall Jamie this was a pretty fantastic biography, congrats on them letting you write a book and I’m looking forward to another if you get around to doing one about your latest ventures. 🙂
